This is my rendition of what Lestat and his 80s Glam-Rock band would have looked like from Anne Rice's "The Vampire Lestat." Currently inked line-art, on a long list of things I plan to color.
very nice. good detail work, and a very nice sence of fluidity.

"member of Project Reciprocation" Im like a good canoli, kinda flakey, but real sweet once you bite through the outter crust and get to the creamy middle.
Your positions and lines give a feeling of movement, it's a very dynamic drawing. Looks like it came straight off their CD cover. Lestat looks so young! But I guess he was supposed to be really young looking in the books. I think his expression seems just a little bit too childlike and innocent. He's much more devious than that. That's my only criticism. I really hope you get this colored, I can't wait to see it!
Thank you! You're right, Lestat is a much more devious character than he appears to be here, but he is a skilled con man and can look harmless... until he gets what he wants
I also felt that while he was with his band he regained some of the youth and vigor he had while with Louis and Claudia, since it was a come-back after decades of solitude.
I meant for this to be an LP cover so I'll put the band name on top when I color it. I may take your suggestion and give him more of a smirk as well

Thank you! Sorry it took me a while to answer, I'm on kind of an art-break so I haven't been on DA in a while <_<;; I just took a look at your homepage and added you to watchlist right away! I am so sorry to hear of your bad news. You'd be more than welcome to color this whenever you're able I am always happy to meet fellow Vamp Chronicles fans!
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!

I am firmly convinced potatoes will one day rule the world, who can resist such sexy spuds?
